It's now official - copper can kill harmful bacteria. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has brought in the long awaited ruling that copper can legitimately claim to be capable of combating infections. We also note data which suggests that copper is the most widely recycled substance we know of. Over 70% of the copper around is recycled! Copper is not cheap. Last year it increased in price around 150%.
